Pocopson Park Path
A Hard 2 mile long paved walking path 15 minutes away
​Effort: This 2 mile walking path loop has has a Flat Equivalent Length of 2.3 miles total and merits an Overall Grade Rating of Hard. Depending on the direction, the longest continuous grades are as follows: a 240-310' section with at least easy grades, a 200-210' section with at least easy to moderate grades, a 170' section with at least moderate grades, and a 140-170' section with at least difficult grades. Difficulty is generally equivalent regardless of which direction you go in. Stress: This 5-6' wide paved waking path would generally rated as very low stress for most users, except that less experienced wheelchair users may find the 140-170' section with difficult downhill grades to be very stressful.

Universal Access: The path does not meet standards with respect to running grade with an Overall Grade Rating of Hard to Very Hard. As a walking path, it otherwise meets all standards for surface, obstacles, cross-slope, and passing spaces.

Other features: This is a quiet trail, running through fields and forests, at times close to the Pocopson Creek. Most of the route is unshaded. There are several benches along the way, and a picnic pavilion and playground at Pocopson Park.

Connections: There are some shortcuts and other spurs along this route.
